WELCOME TO THE P.I., YOU DIRTY G.I.
P.I. elected criminals will, no doubt, ask the Guinness record book people to stop the "racism" in their record book.
All additions to this page from May 19 onwards will be placed at the bottom.
The United States Capitol is the meeting place of the United States Congress, the legislature of the Federal Government of the United States. Likewise The Philippine Islands is the meeting place and domain of a corrupt and bankrupt judiciary, corrupt police and totally corrupt government officials. Top police officials do and have told victims they can murder them and get away with the murder because they will appoint the police who will white wash the murder! After reading something like this how can anyone doubt that the Philippine Islands is the murder Capitol of the world? Capitol, not capital is correct.
At least in Somalia you know who the bad blokes are, they live in another section, but in the P.I. everyone is a mark of anyone that wants to extort from them, set them up, try them in corrupt courts on trumped-up charges or murder them. The safest way to look at the P.I., if you live there, is never let one of them get to know you and never be friends with one, especially police and officials!

Hello,
Thought you might like this. The Philippines made the Guinness Book of Records for the most murders in a year in 2004. To fix the problem they will ask Guinness to remove the record rather than addressing the problem.

Curb criminality rather than question records--Gordon
Independent Senator Richard J. Gordon today said the government must exert its efforts more on curbing criminality and maintaining a peaceful and orderly society rather than on questioning records of international organizations.
Gordon said it would be pointless for the government to question the country's record of having the most number of murders in 2004 since it came from a highly regarded and credible international organization, such as the United Nations (UN).
"We must concentrate our efforts in making sure that we improve our country's peace and order situation. That is the best way we could erase the negative record we have created," he said.
Gordon had earlier announced that the Philippines, with 3,525 homicides in 2004, has been included in the 2009 Guinness Book of World Records as the country with the highest number of murders for the latest year available in the records of the UN.
Malacanang reacted to the world record as a piece of bad news, saying it would make a representation to the Guinness organization and clear the country's name.
However, Gordon, noting that the record is not the first negative image the country has created, said that what the government must do is to improve on its efforts in maintaining peace and order and ensuring fair and speedy justice system.
"More than the image is the sad reality that we need our law enforcement authorities to follow the rule of law and make sure that our people are protected. We can only do that if we start fixing the problem rather than fixing the blame," he said.
Gordon, who is vocal in condemning murders especially those perpetrated against individuals in the line of duty, said that aside from having the most number of murders, the nation has been branded as one of the most corrupt countries and one of the most dangerous places in the world for journalists.

((May 19 09)) Over one million unlicensed firearms are in the hands of civilians and rebels in the Philippines, leading to a high incidence of gun-related homicides, the national police chief said Monday.
The Philippines is ranked 10th in the world in gun related homicides, Philippine National Police Director General Jesus Versoza said at a gun control conference in Manila, quoting a list by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
Versoza said nearly all homicides in the country between 2004 and 2008 were carried out with the use of unlicensed firearms.
"The control of firearms remains the most critical and one of the greatest obstacles or barriers in our fight against criminality and lawlessness," Versoza said.
"What is alarming is that from 2004 to 2008, the statistics show that 97.7 percent of all gun-related crimes (in the Philippines) were committed using these loose firearms," he said.
