The P. I. military is a product of the people living there, so what can you expect.
The P. I. military as a fighting force are a group of cowards. They know how to shoot an unarmed populace, but cannot ever be an effective fighting force. They lack the will and backbone. The average soldier has to endure log-grade, bad quality food because his superiors are stealing funds allocated for the proper food, training and equipment! They have their hands out constantly to the Americans to give, give and still give.
They are the masters of the perfect backstab and are supreme thieves! They, like their leaders, give the Philippine salute with a gun in the hidden hand!

The military are suspected of stealing aid intended for thousands of starving refugees. This aid is intended for the homeless people in the war torn region in the south of P.I.
What makes this harder to believe is the military keep blaming the terrorist, however, the military are either directly involved in the pilfering or are responsible for creating the circumstances that allows the pilfering to happen. The U. S. embassy and other embassies all know this, but say nothing!
Common sense dictates that the military provide a security detail to ensure the aid is delivered to its intended receivers.
Common sense, is not so common.
On July 8 09 the United Nations and other nations sending aid workers and aid to the war-torn area have ceased, due to the recent church bombing. If the P. I. military would allocate the men to guard, patrol and help that they allocate to murdering, kidnapping and theft they would not be loosing these needed aid workers who, after all, are doing a good work in helping the down-and-out. What the bloody ‘ell are ye doing over there, mates?

Parish priest in Datu Piang
in Maguindanao confirms ‘food blockade’
A PARISH priest in Datu Piang town in Maguindanao on Friday confirmed that the government Armed forces are blocking the delivery of relief goods for the people affected by the Armed conflict in Mindanao.
Fr. Eduardo Vasquez Jr., OMI, confirmed reports that the military are blocking the food rations for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) but he said that government forces are stressing that there is no such thing as a “food blockade.”
Vasquez said that the military are saying that they are merely delaying the delivery of the relief goods for the people “due to security reasons” which the military did not elaborate.
“On my own observation, I noticed that when the government forces learn that there will be a delivery of relief goods like food, water or medicine, let’s say the next morning, there will be bombing or attacks on the eve of the scheduled delivery. It’s as if they would create a scenario to holdup the arrival or delivery of the relief goods. This has happened twice already based on my observation,” Vasquez told reporters.
((We believe that. Marcos used Enrile to plant bombs in manila so he could declare martial law and take over the country! Joseph Estrada, before he was thrown out, used PNP Chief Ping Lacson to also plant bombs which killed innocent Philipinos! There are some unbelievable low-down leaders in the Philippine Islands!))
Vasquez also said that there were reports that the military discovered food supply in one of the raided camps of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), a reason why government forces believe that some relatives of MILF members are among the evacuees and that these refugees give their ration to the rebels.
((More than likely the P. I. military is stealing the food and selling it to the MILF! Chiang Kai-shek took U.S. weapons and sold them to the Japanese to enrich himself and bought opium from them to addict his Chinese people, while he was fighting them! The MILF, JI, NPA and other terrorist organizations are one of the gold mines of the leaders in the Philippine islands' government and have been for decades! They do not want to kill the goose laying the golden eggs and occasionally trade with them too!))
Commission on Human Rights Commissioner Cecilia Quisumbing said the reported food blockade is a violation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and even the basic rights of a person, which is the right to food.
((The P. I. military are purposely violating International Humanitarian Law, lady, and do not give a care! They also violate human rights of their own people and foreign expats and tourists]. Hey, they even murder the foreigners without a worry of being brought to justice! So to them, what is it to break other laws? They could give a rats big rear-end!))
Karen Tañada of Civil Society Initiatives for IHL said that the law is now universally accepted but violations continue to erode this system of legal safeguards that protect people in times of conflict and prescribe the way wars may be fought.
Tañada also agreed with Quisumbing that if there is a food blockade, there is also a violation of IHL.
Ernesto Anasarias, executive director of Balay Rehabilitation Center, said the latest monitoring of the United Nations indicated that the number of IDPs in central Mindanao have reached 200,000.
